How do we keep our prices so low?

If you have looked at any of our competitors, you no doubt have seen that our prices are considerably lower. How do we do this? Well, call it clever marketing; you see, while they are advertising for $1.00 a click in the super popular keywords on Google and Yahoo, we are advertising in 10 times as many less popular keywords at a fraction of the cost. We also do a lot of on the ground marketing, our business isn't web only, so we are able to reduce our cost.

Is everything we make all natural?

Unfortunately no, some things we just can't get without some preservatives or something of that nature. Each item on our site has a set of indicator checkboxes that warn of possible allergies and inform you whether or not the product is "all natural".

How long will our products last on the shelf?

That depends a lot on the product, canned items like our salsas and jams will last well over a year on the shelf if you keep them at room temperatures. Our mixes for breads, fried chicken, etc. are good for about 6 months if kept cool and dry. Most of our breads are going to be best if you eat them in 5-10 days, however they also freeze very well and can be kept in your regular freezer for a month, or a deep freeze for up to six months!

What do you charge for shipping?

We charge actual shipping charges plus $1.50 shipping & handling fee. Every item on our site has a real weight tracked in the background, and that is used to calculate your shipping charge in real time. The great thing about this, is that after the first $6.00 or so that the shipping companies have as a minimum charge, you can generally add items for less than $1.00 each in extra shipping.

Do we charge sales tax?

If you live in Tennessee you must pay sales tax on the cost of the goods and the cost of shipping at a rate of 9%.

How long will it take to get my goodies?

We generally try to ship your items the same day that you order them, however, if you ordered something pre-baked, there may be a delay as we do not bake items until they are ordered. We do not ship on the weekends and are closed most holidays.
